The Mercanti family originated from the beautiful town of Castelli. Castelli is located in Teramo, Abbruzzi. This beautiful seaside hosts between 30,000 and 50,000 tourists each summer. With its wide sandy beaches, 15 km biking/roller-skating track and glamorous night life. This small village of about 1600, is also favoured by tourists for the art institute and the ceramics museum.
